Admission for International Students

Eligibility Criteria for international students is the same as for local students.

International students must ensure they have the following documents available before applying at Air University.

• HEC Equivalence certificates: Equivalence certificates of bachelor’s degree or any other equivalent qualification in relevant groups/subjects duly obtained from HEC, Pakistan, are mandatory
• Applicant must have a GRE score . It is an internationally recognized test and is taken by ETS agencies across the world. (Candidates, whose final result is awaited, can also apply for Masters Admission, provided that they submit their final result before commencement of classes)
  • Required score for Masters Programs: 151 in Quantitative Reasoning, 145 in Verbal Reasoning, and 3.5/6.0 in analytical writing.
  • For a PhD minimum score of 300 or 60th percentile is required that is min. of 155 in Quantitative Reasoning and 145 in Verbal Reasoning, and with a min score of 3.5 in Analytical
• Scanned Passport.
• A Statement of Purpose and a letter of reference (if the requirement of the program they are applying for)
• Scanned original degree and transcripts. (Candidates, whose final result is awaited, can also apply for Masters Admission, provided that they submit their final result before commencement of classes)
• NOC from the concerned embassy

Procedure of Admission for International Students

• Prepare and appear for GRE test and report score at 3683 (GRE Reporting Code for Air University is 3683).

• Apply for Foreign Degree Equivalence at https://eservices.hec.gov.pk/#/auth/login
• Before proceeding, please ensure that you have following documents available:
  • Scanned Degree/Diploma/Certificate for which equivalence is required
  • Scanned year wise Transcript/Diploma Supplement. (Degree completion letter in case of research degree) or Graduation Statement/Record of study indicating date of admission and completion of degree (other than English Version, its translation from concerned University/Embassy or NUML) (front and back side)
  • Upload Professional Body Registration certificate, in case of professional degrees like Medical, Nursing, Engineering etc.
  • If applicable, scanned passport indicating visa, entry and exit in respective country for study duration only
  • Scanned Passport in case of foreign national
  • Photographs
  • Valid Credit Card/Debit Card for online payment of your application fee

Please ensure that there is no erasing/misprint or any unreadable alphabet/word on all documents including your degree(s), transcript(s), etc.

• • You need to upload fee challan
  • Fee is non-refundable
  • It can be paid in any HBL branch in Pakistan
  • Fee for each Degree/Diploma/Certificate is PKR. 5000/- (Five Thousand Rupees only) approximately 22.57 USD

Candidates desirous of seeking admission will first email documents to Air University before 1^st March 2023 and afterwards register and fill up the online admission form available on Air University web page during March 2023 till 1^st June.

Email the following mandatory documents (Personal and Educational Documents) at [email protected] before 1^st March 2023

• Scanned Educational documents. (High School Certificate, O/A Level, HEC Equivalent degree) (Candidates, whose final result is awaited, can also apply for Masters Admission, provided that they submit their final result before commencement of classes)
• GRE Score. (Candidates, whose final result is awaited, can also apply for Masters Admission, provided that they submit their final result before commencement of classes)
• Statement of Purpose and Letter of reference (If required for the course, you apply to)
• Scanned Copy of Passport
• NOC from Concerned Government Embassy
• Employment history and certificates (applicants applying for Executive MBA and Business Analytics)

Air University will Email you Provisional Admission offer letter after ascertaining the genuineness of the documents through email.

AU Online applications will open by March. Apply Online through Air University Admission link before 1^st June 2023.

• Visit and register for international student application. After getting login password, online application form will be accessible
• Duly complete online admission form in all respect and submit it
• Confirmation of receipt of application by Air University through email
• Printing fee invoice and fee deposit through any online branch of Habib bank ltd. OR Payment through a credit card
• Confirmation of receipt of Payment by Air University through an email
• To accommodate our international students – an admission fee of $20 can be added to their semester fee later on; this means they can go through the admission procedure FOR FREE!
• After the steps mentioned above, applicants must wait for their acceptance emails and shall be guided further individually

After successful completion of application, Air University will provide you provisional admission letter.

Apply for the Student Visa through Nadra site (Issuance of visa: 4 Weeks)

You must have the following on-hand before you begin your application:

• Complete set of supporting documents
• Passport
• Photograph up to 350KB captured as explained in the Photograph Tutorial.
• Valid Credit Card/Debit Card for online payment of your application fee.

When you are ready to apply, follow the steps outlined below:

• Click on the Apply Now button to launch the Pakistan Online Visa System.
• Create a New Account.
• Login to the Pakistan Online Visa System.
• Complete your application
• Pay fee through a Credit Card/Debit Card.
• Submit your application
