Eligibility Criteria
Qualifications and Experience
1. BS/MS in Software Engineering/Computer science or related discipline.
2. In depth knowledge of testing methodologies, testing strategies, testing tools, test case development, test process management, and defect management.
3. In depth knowledge of installing, operating, and administrating test environments.
4. Knowledge of configuration management, software engineering and software testing life cycle.
5. Knowledge of quality management, project management and personnel management.
6. Minimum 2 years of experience in Software QA and Testing.
Key Areas of Responsibility
1. Analyze requirements and specifications and translate requirements into a defined test strategy, plan, and specifications.
2. Establish expected results based on acceptance criteria and test data for test cases.
3. Introduce, optimize, or adapt supporting processes like defect management and configuration management to capture and manage defects, fixes,
4. Functional, Performance and Regression test suits.
5. Create, install, optimize, and administrate the testing environment.
6. Execute the test scripts and test plans and record results.
7. Capture and manage defects, fixes, regression test cycles, and data reloads.
8. Create and communicate test reports, status, and testing information to the team lead.
