Central South University has awarded four scholarships to AU members under China Government scholarship 2018 for pursuing MS and PhD studies in different disciplines to foster internationalization and provide opportunities.

CSU being directly under the Ministry of Education (MOE) of the People's Republic of China is admitted into different projects like “Project 211” (the Chinese government's endeavor aimed at strengthening about 100 institutions of higher education and key disciplinary areas), similarly “Project 985” and “Plan 2011”. In September 2017, CSU was enlisted as one of the A-Level "Double First Rate" universities by the State Council.

Following AU Faculty Member/ Staff Members and One final Year Student have been awarded the said scholarship .

4.    Muhammad Usama, Department of Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering.
