Dr. Waseem Haider, Assistant Professor, Mechanical Engineering, School of Engineering & Technology, Central Michigan University (CMU), USA, visited Air University (AU) on 03 July, 2018 and delivered a talk to a group of AU faculty members and students on his research at CMU on 3-D Metallic Printing, Titanium Oxide Nanoparticles / Nanotubes, Thin Films, Graphene Based Nanocomposites, Magnetic Properties of Iron Oxide, Biomaterials and Surface Engineering. During discussions, avenues for establishing formal collaboration between CMU and AU through students and faculty exchange and joint research projects were discussed. Dr. Waseem Haider provided keen insight on daily life, culture and future opportunities for AU students to pursue MS / PhD studies at CMU, USA. He also had a meeting with the Vice Chancellor Air University, Air Vice Marshal Faaiz Amir (R) and exchanged souvenirs.
