Meet Muhammad Usama Zafar. He is currently working as a Systems Analyst at the New York City Department of Education (NYCDOE). His role involves supporting technology, data analytics, and system improvements that impact over 1.1 million students across 1,800+ schools. Previously, he served as a Data Analyst at Spectrum, where he worked on network optimization and enhancing the customer experience across 41 states. During his time at Air University Pakistan, Usama actively participated in academic and extracurricular activities, representing AU at the IST Youth Carnival (2016–2017), cultural events, and competitions at GIKI and NERC. He also co-founded Air Nexus and APDC, which helped shape his personal and professional growth. Outside of work, he has a keen interest in history, politics, finance, blockchain, cosmology, drone technology, and film making. He looks forward to connecting with fellow AU alumni!
