Meet Dr. Fawad Ahmad. He completed his BS in Electrical Engineering from Air University Pakistan, in 2014 and later completed his PhD in Photonics-based MIMO Radar Imaging at the Sant'Anna School of Advanced Studies, Pisa, Italy, in 2025. He is currently serving as a Postdoctoral Researcher at the same institution, with research interests in signal processing for MIMO radar systems, synthetic aperture radar (SAR) imaging, and the integration of machine learning for next-generation radar applications. Alongside academia, Dr. Ahmad has industry experience as an Assistant Technical Manager in Pakistan and as an Electrical Engineer in Dubai. His journey is a testament to how perseverance and dedication can open doors to global opportunities and inspire the next generation of AU graduates.
