Exam Officer

Description: 

Master’s degree or equivalent (16 years ofeducation) in Statistics or Computer Science from HEC recognized University /Institutes.

Experience:

At least 4-5 years professional experience incomparable position.

Experience in data collection, dataanalysis, generation of reports is preferred.

Role: To monitor academic progressof postgraduate students at Air University.

Key duties / Responsibilities:

The Exam officer / Monitoring officer willperform the following key duties.

  • To monitor and keep track of academic activities of postgraduate students

  • To coordinate with Academic departments,Registration office and Automation for maintenance of up to-date data of PG students.

  • To put up regular and special reports on various aspects of PG students data to the Director and Deputy Controller Exams for analysis and corrective measures.

  • To facilitate PG students

  • To initiate reminders to students of critical deadlines and record approved extensions in case of missed deadlines.

  • To submit thesis of PhD students to foreign experts for evaluation

  • To assist PG students for withdrawal,temporary suspension, transfer of credits, extensions, exemptions etc.

  • To coordinate actions on review and updation of data, policies, rules and regulations concerning postgraduate programs.

  • To coordinate with the Research, Ethics and Grievance Committees envisaged under the draft PhD Research Policy, as required.

  • To perform other relevant duties, as assigned by Director/ Deputy Controller Exams.
